Every tooth in the zip has been individually brushed and polished before being assembled on the chain.
With a zipper extending around three sides, it's easy to access all your items and stay organised.
An open pocket on the front with the lining contrasting the leather.

Nine-to-five or Overnight
For your agile, circadian briefcase and an everyday companion, go with Palissy Briefcase.
When you are between home, the office, and the odd overnight excursion, choose Palissy 25-hour.
Add Smart Holder
It is a leather strap that is attached under the vertical straps of Palissy Briefcase that would not detract from the aesthetic when not in detachable leather holder.
To start with I have to say I do love the briefcase. I was a bit unsure before ordering it form the measurements when comparing it to my old briefcase, but rest assured, that depth measurement isn't as bad as it seems.
On a daily basis, my briefcase contains a 13" HP Envy Laptop, mouse and charger. 2 x A4 folders, a power bank, bottle of water, 3 x pens, 1 x notebook, glasses case, 1 x 500ml bottle of water and my squashy lunchbox (which gets taken out when at work). It fits all this without an issue and without much bulk in the middle (with the exception of the lunchbox which is why it's only in there for the commute). Some days a few more folders are added and I've never not had enough space, so happy with the dimensions as the reality is a wider case than they would apply (when I was contemplating the plate I didn't even think it would take a bottle of water which it does with ease).
I use the briefcase without the shoulder strap as I prefer to hold the handles myself, and went for the Black version with the Orange lining which looks fantastic.
The smell of the leather is great, and the bag is a couple of months old now and has started to age nicely and looks good, and still smells good. The zip I find a very high quality and the bag itself is also a very good quality.
The reason I have knocked off a star however is due to the back of the case. In their marketing photos, it shows just the two straps running down the back connecting to the silver handle at the top. The reality however is the straps have about half way down 4 large stiches going through the leather which completely ruin the sleek look on either side and look very messy. When I received, I was very angry with the obviously deceptive marketing photos which do not have these stiches at all, and was going to send it back. I stuck with it however as I thought maybe I was over reacting and have learnt to love the suitcase itself, but be warned if purchasing so you are not in for a shock.
I ordered a Cognac colored bag a few months back. I still get compliments on it. The bag itself is tough, it wears well. It looks better with some marks on it than when it was out of the box. Only gripe is that the monogram came with the wrong initials.
I've been using this briefcase daily for around a month and a half now. Overall satisfied.
- Beautiful design
- High quality zipper and leather
- Sturdy (retains shape when empty)
- Zipper on 3 sides (opens the briefcase wider)
- External "pocket" is too tight and shallow, haven't found any uses for it. Maybe an external sleeve would have been better for quick access to papers and files.
- Internal lining feels a bit cheap. It may be a high grade material but to me as an end user it doesn't feel so premium so take this with a grain of salt.
- Scratches easily. To be expected from a smooth leather finish, but still should be noted.
- Zippers are high quality but are a bit stiff.
- Could have more inner pockets/segments
